About the Project
Songs of Pilgrimage explores ideas of journey, place, reflection and personal meaning through contemporary songwriting. Pilgrimage is approached as both a physical and symbolic experience within modern cultural life.
James J Turner has an established track record of writing, recording and releasing professionally produced original music, with work regularly broadcast across specialist and mainstream radio programming. Alongside recorded work, he maintains an active live performance practice, performing as a solo artist at festivals and concert events.
